print design.

Thing form thing fifth. Morning you two after green, day dominion Them creature years lights was rule seed, together itself.

What is graphic or print design and why does it still matter?

Print or also known as graphic designs appear on printed media like business cards, billboards or brochures rather than digital spaces like websites. Just like digital designs, the goal of print design is to use visual graphics to communicate a specific message to viewers.

Graphic design in any form is about communication. Think of print design as just another avenue for reaching your audience and sharing your message. “Until everyone can digitally project everything, print will still be needed,” Hewling says. “You should have an understanding of how to produce strong, captivating print pieces that help build stronger connections with your target.”

branding & identity.

Branding design describes how a brand chooses to visually represent their brand identity to the public. Branding design, typically refers to key brand elements such as the logo, color scheme, typography, and other design components that makes a brand stand out from competitors, and recognizable to consumers.

Besides these main elements of brand identity design, branding design also more broadly refers to how a brand chooses to express themselves in both the physical and digital world; whether that’s on social media, in physical stores, or even the interior design of company office spaces.

It’s becoming increasingly important for companies to ensure their brand design is conveyed consistently across all these touchpoints— by using brand guidelines—in order to strengthen their brand image in the minds of their audience.

Logo Design.

To understand what a logo is, we first must understand what the main purpose of logos is. The design process must aim to make the logo immediately recognizable, inspiring trust, admiration, loyalty and an implied superiority. The logo is one aspect of a company’s commercial brand or economic entity, and its shapes, colors, fonts, and images usually are strikingly different from other logos in the same market niche. Logos are used to identify.

A good logo is distinctive, appropriate, practical, graphic and simple in form, and it conveys the owner’s intended message. A concept or “meaning” is usually behind an effective logo, and it communicates the intended message. A logo should be able to be printed at any size and, in most cases, be effective without color. A great logo essentially boils down to two things: great concept and great execution.

Business Cards.

The business card represents your company’s brand. Not only does it convey important personal contact information but oftentimes it is also the first exposure to the overall image of the business.

Brochures.

A brochure is considered as a common marketing tool used to publicise any business, its product, or services. It is also a great way to introduce your new business products and services to existing customers or increase their reach to new prospects.

Signage.

Signage is an important part of your business. Your business’ signage could be anything from wall signs, window signage, sidewalk signs, floor signs, and more. While each of these may serve a different purpose, if done right, good signage provides your customers and potential customers with subtle, but important, communication cues, increases brand awareness, and in the end, it can help you convert a sale.

Packaging.

Your product’s packaging can be a consumer’s first point of contact with your product, and a well designed package may make someone try a new brand or product line they’ve never heard of. Your package design is one of the most important elements in a successful product launch (or re-launch).

process process
01

Design brief.

Conduct a questionnaire or interview with the client to get the design brief.

02

Research.

Conduct research on the industry itself, its history and competitors. Problem-solve first, design later.

03

Reference.

Conduct research on logo designs that have been successful and on current styles and trends. Longevity in logo design is key.

04

Sketching & conceptualizing.

Develop the logo design concepts. This is the single most important part of the design process. This is where we get creative and be inspired before we actually design everything on the computer.

05

Reflection.

Breaks throughout the design process are essential. This helps the ideas to mature, renews the enthusiasm and create room for feedback. It also always give a fresh perspective on the work.

06

Revisions & positioning.

In this stage any required revisions and improvements are made in order to ensure a long-lasting result.

07

Presentation.

The best designs are presented to the client in PDF format. This includes showing the design in context, which will help the client more clearly visualize the brand identity. A high-quality presentation is handed to the client for approval.

08

This is when we deliver the appropriate files to the client and give all support that is needed (brand guidelines, fonts, etc.).
